  2. Dear Melanie,

I couldn't figure out where to send comments, as mentioned on various groups, but I did want to say how sorry I am about your mom's passing, and also to say how wonderful it is to see what you have done with the memorial, alter, and "celebrations" in her name. Also, thank you for letting us not so close to know day by day how things were and are now. She had so many "friends."

    Dear Melanie,
I was utterly shocked to find that your Mother had passed away. I usually stopped by her site to see the latest specials, but I had surgery and ended up with an infection, so I haven't been on line much. More than once your Mom helped me out when I got confused with what I'd already ordered vs. what I thought I'd ordered but didn't, she was so very patient with me as I fumbled through the fog now and then because I, too have multiple chronic illnesses, including fibro, and you'd think I was born yesterday sometimes. I'd be so humiliated but Vickie cheerfully put up with me, and I always looked forward to my package from her along with that little extra goody she always included. Her service was outstanding, her kindness seemed limitless, her participation in various projects appeared to be widespread. I truly can't fathom how she was able to do all of it plus have time for family. Now I can see that for her, family was more than those who resided under the same roof as she did; I'm in awe of your Mother and her accomplishments. I imagine it has become apparent that she has touched more people than even she might have thought. Now her many talents are needed elsewhere; I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with her! Please accept my sincere condolences.

  6. Hi Melanie,

I sent an email to your mom's roadrunner (and Adelphia) account regarding an order I just placed for stamps. I'm so sorry, but I hit the site from a Google search and didn't even see the home page notification of your mom's recent death until after I'd placed the order. I understand you and yours have your hands full with all that follows such an event, but being unable to reverse the order, I'm uncertain as to my status. The home page seemed to imply that orders are still being filled, but may be delayed. That's OK .. just looking for a word or two as to status.

May memories of your mother, and the love of friends and family, hold you up during this difficult time. All the best,

    Karan
